How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, firstly, because you provide it to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter in a contact form or in the booking form.
Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is above all technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
The data is collected in order to ensure that the website is provided without errors and in order to process your enquiry or your booking. Your user behaviour is not analysed.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice regarding this and any further questions on the subject of data protection. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
In addition, you have the right, in certain circumstances, to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. For details please see the section "Right to restriction of processing" in this privacy policy.

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.
We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to object to the collection of data in particular cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling to the extent that it is connected with such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Encrypted payment transactions on this website
If, after concluding a contract subject to a charge, there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g. an account number for a direct debit authorisation), this data is required in order to process the payment.
Payment transactions using the usual means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are carried out exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
With encrypted communication, the payment data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion and correction
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice to do so. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we hold about you, we will usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data took place or is taking place unlawfully, you can request the restriction of the data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or establish legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance has to be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a member state.
Objection to advertising emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested is hereby objected to. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam emails.
3. Data collection on our website
Cookies
Our pages themselves do not set any cookies for analysis or advertising purposes. The booking form that is embedded may set technically necessary cookies in order to retain your entries during the booking process.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They do not cause any damage and do not contain viruses. The cookies set by the embedded booking form are technically necessary; whether they only apply for the duration of your visit has to be asked of the provider.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required in order to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. keeping your entries in the booking form) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the optimisation of its website – for this purpose the server log files must be collected.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form therefore takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiry by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of dealing with your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary in order to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in dealing effectively with the enquiries addressed to us.
The data you send to us in contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Regular customer account and registration
You can register as a regular customer in order to use additional functions. Registration and the administration of your bookings take place via our booking system (see the section "ParkStar booking system").
We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offering or service for which you have registered. The mandatory details requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we will refuse the registration.
For important changes, for example to the scope of the offering or in the case of technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration in order to inform you in this way.
The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data collected during registration is stored by us for as long as you are registered and is deleted afterwards. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, structuring of the content or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our internet pages (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary in order to enable the user to use the service or to invoice them for it.
The customer data collected is stored for statistical purposes after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. On request, your personal data can be anonymised in our system. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Transfer of data when a contract is concluded for services and digital content
We transfer personal data to third parties only if this is necessary within the scope of processing the contract, for example to the credit institution commissioned to handle the payment.
The data is not transferred any further, or only if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data is not passed on to third parties without express consent, for example for advertising purposes.
The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
4. ParkStar booking system
For booking a parking space we embed a booking form of the ParkStar service (parkpool.parkstar.de) on our home page. The form is loaded in a frame of its own (iframe) from this provider's servers; in addition we load a small script from there which adapts the height of the form to your device. When you call up our home page, your IP address is therefore transmitted to this provider.
If you make a booking, the provider processes, on our behalf, the data that you enter in the form – in particular the travel period, the number of people, name, address, email address, telephone number, vehicle and flight details as well as the payment details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures); for embedding the form itself it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in an online booking facility that works.
Access for regular customers to administer their bookings also runs via the same service. If you choose an online payment, the payment data is transmitted to the payment service provider used by the booking system. If you pay on site (in cash or by debit or credit card), no payment data arises on this website.
5. Fonts, images and map
Bunny Fonts
This site uses what are known as web fonts in order to display fonts consistently. They are provided by Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net). When you call up a page, your browser loads the required fonts from this provider; in doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the provider's server. The provider states that it neither sets cookies nor stores IP addresses in the process. The use takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of our offering. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font of your computer is used.
Images from Unsplash
Two photos are embedded on our home page which are loaded from the servers of the image service Unsplash (images.unsplash.com). In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to this service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in a fast and appealing presentation of our pages. The other images, the logo and the map showing how to find us are stored on our own server; no map is embedded from a map service.
Links to Google Maps
In two places we offer you a link "Plan your route" to the map service Google Maps. No map is embedded: only when you click on the link do you leave our website, and the provider's data protection provisions then apply.
6. No analysis and advertising services
We do not use any tools on this website for measuring reach, for analysing user behaviour or for advertising: no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no tracking pixels of social networks and no plug-ins from social networks. For that reason, no profiles are created about your visit either.
