Long-term parking at Hamburg Airport: affordable and stress-free for weeks

The longer the trip, the more your parking matters: for the price, because every day adds up, and for security, because your car would otherwise be left unattended for weeks. If you are flying from Hamburg for one to three weeks or longer, look beyond the headline figure – check what the price includes and which costs could still be added later.

Book – around the clock

You choose your travel dates in the booking form and see the price straight away. This price is binding and includes the shuttle to the terminal and the pick-up there. Booking is done online, around the clock and 365 days a year. As a new customer you give us your name, address and a means of payment; registered regular customers simply log in and book straight away.

Getting to Norderstedt

Our car park is at Gutenbergring 49, 22848 Norderstedt, north of Fuhlsbüttel. The B432 main road brings you to us quickly, and the A7 motorway is only a few kilometres away. Plan your route in Google Maps.

Park yourself, keep your keys

You drive through the barrier and park your vehicle in the nearest free space, or choose from the free spaces available. There is no need to hand over any keys – a real advantage on long trips, because your car keys stay with you the whole time. The site has unbroken fencing, can be locked and is monitored by CCTV around the clock.

Shuttle to the terminal and back

Our air-conditioned shuttle takes you straight to your terminal, with plenty of legroom and ample space for your luggage. All our drivers hold a valid passenger transport licence. When you return, we pick you up at the terminal again.

What to check before a long trip

• Maximum parking period: your car can stay with us for up to three months. If you will be away for longer, please make a written agreement with us beforehand; we may ask for payment up front for this.
• Vehicle height: the entrance height is limited to 2.00 m. If your vehicle does not fit because of its height, the price you booked is still payable in full under our terms and conditions. Please measure before you book, especially with a roof box or a van.
• Valuables: take valuables and any loose items out of the car before you leave it for weeks.
• Changing your travel dates: let us know about any changes no later than one hour before the agreed time, ideally by phone on +49 40 57 30 7643.

Parking for less: how to avoid unnecessary costs

There is no trick to getting the best price – just good planning. These points help make sure you pay exactly the amount you booked:

1. Book in good time: as a general rule, booking early gives you more choice of dates and time to compare in peace. The risk is small, as you can cancel free of charge with us up to 24 hours before handover.
2. Register everyone travelling with you: up to four people ride in the shuttle at no extra charge. For additional people not registered in advance, we charge €20.00 per person on site.
3. Keep the night surcharge in mind: the shuttle is free of charge every day from 03:00 to 00:00. If you need the transfer between 00:00 and 03:00, for example after a late landing, a night surcharge of €35.00 applies – with the Flex rate for €9.99 it is waived.
4. Plan your return realistically: under our terms and conditions, each day beyond your booked period costs €20.00 to €30.00. It is better to book your actual return date and let us know early if anything changes.
5. No extra cost for the transfer: the shuttle to the terminal and the pick-up are included in the parking price, so you need neither a taxi nor a train ticket to the airport.

Frequently asked questions about long-term parking

How long can I leave my car at SaS Parking?

The maximum parking period is three months. If you are travelling for longer, please agree this with us in writing beforehand; for any time beyond three months we may ask for payment up front.

How much does long-term parking at Hamburg Airport cost with SaS?

You will see the price for your exact travel dates straight away in the booking form. This price is binding and includes the shuttle to your terminal and the pick-up there when you return.

Do I have to hand over my car key for the whole trip?

No. You park your car yourself on our fenced, CCTV-monitored site, and your car keys stay with you.

What happens if I come back later than booked?

That is usually not a problem. Please let us know as early as possible so that we can plan the capacity. Under our terms and conditions we charge €20.00 to €30.00 for each additional day.

How late can I cancel free of charge?

No cancellation charge applies up to 24 hours before the time of handover. If you cancel at shorter notice, we charge 100% of the agreed price.

How can I pay?

You pay online through the booking system, or on site when you collect your car, in cash or by debit or credit card.
